Prior to starting Outstanding Results Company, Elena and Dmitri ran a successful Information Technology company Soft Light Ltd, which they grew from $0 to a $180K+ annual turnover in only two years. This company is still growing.
ORCO is a way for them to give back to the New Zealand business and entrepreneurial community, which has been so generous to them over the years.
How can we be of value to you?
There is no easy answer to why so many businesses fail in their initial years.
Often when a new business is started, the owner is very knowledgeable about their product or service. As for selling the product or service (more) profitably, fighting off the competition, or attracting and retaining (more) customers however – these things usually remain an obscurity to the new business owner. It is typical for thousands of dollars to be spent on marketing and promotions for little or no result, with the owners simply throwing good money after bad to try and fix the problem. Without customers, of course the business dies.
At the other extreme, some businesses suffer because their marketing has been too successful. The owner finds that although things are booming, they are personally overwhelmed and losing control. Customers keep coming and they struggle to keep up with demand. As a result, the owner ends up spending all of their time "locked" in the business, missing out on family time, enjoyment, relaxation missing out on life! Stress and fatigue sets in, and before long the only way out is "burn-out".
